![]() I’ve had Carve the Mark for over a year now but I admit I waited for The Fates Divide to be released this year before putting it on my to-read schedule. The whole city celebrated the day the bundle of petals peeled apart into rich red – partly because the hushflowers were their nation’s lifeblood, and partly, Akos thought, to keep them all from going crazy in the cold. Hushflowers always bloomed when the night was longest. ![]() So today, for FLF, I picked one of the books on my TBR. I was able to finally get back to reading and am finally almost finished with Fiona Davis’ The Masterpiece, which I will try to review this Sunday if things go as planned. ![]() It was very routinary – home, work then home again – but I welcome it especially after the craziness of July.
